How to root infinix zero 3 [x552] Marshmallow

Getting down to business. To install root you need a working TWRP recovery, SuperSU.zip. Links will be provided at the end of this tutorial


  • First download TWRP V3.0.2.1 from Link below
  • Then SuperSU.zip[copy to sd card directory]
  • Copy both MT6795_android_scatter.txt and recovery.img to a desktop folder
  • Open sp flash tool and click on SCATTER LOADING
  • Locate desktop folder and click on MT6795_android_scatter.txt 
  • Select download, power off your device and wait for green confirmation
  •  Boot into recovery using power and volume (+) combo keys
  • click install zip and locate supersu.zip, swipe to confirm installation and reboot thereafter
